HAESUNG CONSTRUCTION, inc. is committed to improving digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are working to improve the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to provide equal access to all users.

Standards We Follow

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

We recognize that we have not yet achieved full conformance and are actively working to address identified gaps.

What We Have Implemented

The following accessibility features are currently in place:

• HTML Language Declaration: Page language is properly declared (dynamically set based on selected locale) for screen readers and translation tools.
• Semantic HTML: We use <main>, <nav>, and heading structures to support screen reader navigation.
• Responsive Design: Our website adapts to different screen sizes, zoom levels, and devices using Bootstrap 5 responsive framework.
• HTTPS Encryption: All pages are served over secure HTTPS connections.
• Text Alternatives: We aim to provide descriptive alt text for meaningful images.
• Navigation: Primary navigation includes ARIA labels for assistive technology.
• Multilingual Support: Content is available in multiple languages (English, Korean, Spanish, French, German).

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following accessibility issues and are working to resolve them:

• Color Contrast: Some elements (section banners, certain buttons) may not meet the minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text. We are reviewing and updating these.
• Skip Navigation: A skip-to-main-content link is being implemented to allow keyboard users to bypass navigation.
• Focus Indicators: Some interactive elements may rely on browser default focus styles, which may not be sufficiently visible. We are adding custom focus indicators.
• PDF Documents: Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to provide accessible alternatives.
• Image Alt Text: Some images may have missing or insufficient alternative text. We are conducting an audit to address this.
• Third-party Content: Embedded content or third-party widgets may not fully meet accessibility standards.

Our website is designed to be compatible with:

• Modern web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
• Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
